The original DD-4 and the new DD-4X evaporator is ideal for users who are routinely running the same methods every day.  The DD-4X lacks the sophisticated programming ablility of the HT-4X and therefore some of the flexibility, but still packs in many of the same features to provide fast, safe evaporation.
 
The DD-4X may be used for medicinal chemistry, and it is a cost effective system for laboratories running routine assays requiring evaporation of many shallow well microtitre plates, such as ADME or screening facilities.
