The Elite has a new auto draining cold trap (which illumenated green while draining!), enhanced heating for the lid and chamber, and now uses the Scroll pump.  So What?  These updates enable the Elite to do most things that a HT-4X can do, including, evaporate high boiling point solvents, such as DMSO; achieve improved final drying for stubborn samples, and; perform the Genevac LyoSpeedmethodology for fast freeze drying of HPLC fractions.  Everyting else you would expect from an EZ-2 is still there, compact size, Dri-Pure® included, temperature control,HCl resistance option and easy to use controls.
