Comparing evaporators for drying Oligonucleotides



Dye labelled oligonucleotides are used in many molecular biology applications. A stability test on dye labelled oligonucleotide was done using a Genevac’s SF-60 (old design) and HT-4. The samples in the HT-4 under went a pre-programmed drying run designed to evaporate water and other solvents, while the SF-60 samples were run until the heat lamp was switched off.
