Controlling Bumping During Evaporation



Sample contamination can occur due to bumping in a centrifugal evaporator. Studies done at Evotec OAI showed that bumping could be avoided in tubes and vials by using Genevac Dri-Pure technology. However, this will depend on the solvent types and the vessels on usage. This study builds upon the work published by GSK, proved that Dri-Pure can eliminate bumping in micro plates.
